Name: Larry, Moe & Curly
Sex: Male
Approximate age: Unknown
Breed: Degu
Size: Small
Time in care: 3-4 months
Larry, Curly and Moe are a trio of adult degus currently in the care of Popcorns and Binkies Rescue Haven. All three boys are very sweet and curious, and while they do not like being picked up, they very much enjoy standing on and exploring an outstretched hand.
Larry is the most outgoing, always the first to greet you when you open the door. He will climb on your hands, or right into an open treat bag because nothing gets past his nose! You can tell Larry apart from his brothers because he had a tail injury that has left his a bit shorter than his brothers, but it doesn’t interfere with his balance!
Curly is the shyest of the bunch, and you can tell him apart from his brothers by his chubby cheeks! Curly loves to take his time selecting a treat from your hands, only to dash away and eat it while watching you from a platform. Once he decides you are safe, he will happily show off how agile he is by quick sprints in his wheel, followed by parkouring around his cage.
Moe is the relaxed brother. With his beautiful long tail and slender face, he knows he is gorgeous. Moe loves to sit in their food bowl and tease the others while he leisurely eats. Moe likes to bury himself in hay and really get comfortable for a nap.
These three boys are bonded to each other and love to sleep cuddled in a pile. But they still get lots of exercise from wrestling, rough-housing, and not taking turns on the wheel.
A home with no children under the age of 12 is preferred, as is an experienced owner.
