Hey there, time traveller!

CALGARY — Not many people had been talking about Jeff Stoughton’s foursome coming into this event.
But they’re starting to talk now.
Stoughton was dominant here at the 2009 Brier Saturday in drilling Nova Scotia’s Mark Dacey — the 2004 Brier champion — 8-3 on the afternoon draw and N.W.T./Yukon’s Jamie Koe 9-4 to finish the day a perfect 2-0 and alone in first.
Stoughton has a relatively easy schedule early in the event, with just one game today — against P.E.I. this afternoon — and then two tomorrow against B.C. and Quebec.
Put it all together and it is very conceivable that Stoughton could be a perfect 5-0 by the close of business here Monday — in which case his Manitoba team would suddenly become the talk of the town.
