WINNIPEG – Winnipeg’s Ukrainian Labour Temple has been designated a national historic site.

Dedicated to improving the circumstances of Ukrainian workers and farmers, the temple was constructed in Winnipeg’s North End in 1918-19 by the Ukrainian Labour Temple Association.

Designed by architect Robert E. Davies, it was the headquarters for several national Ukrainian organizations.
