The weather has quelled considerably this morning, and today’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with sunny periods and a 30 per cent chance of showers.

The wind will be from the north at 20 km/h becoming east at 20 late this morning.

The expected high this afternoon is a little cooler than Wednesday’s, just 28 C. The UV index will be 6 or “high.”

The forecast for this evening is for thunderstorms again (and perhaps that means more lightning). The overnight low will be 17.

On Friday, the clouds will hang around, and there will be a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early afternoon.

Showers are forecast to seriously begin later Friday afternoon and there is a risk of a further thunderstorm.

The wind will come from the east at 30 km/h Friday morning. The high is expected to reach a mere 24 with the overnight low dropping to 17.

On Saturday the weatherman is calling for showers (what, you expect sun on a weekend?) and a high of 25.

The showers are forecast to continue on Sunday, with a low temperature of 15 and a high of 19.

On Monday, rain is expected. The low will be 12 and the high just 16.

But the sun is forecast to return on Tuesday, with the temperature rising to a high of 26. Wednesday is forecast to be a repeat of the day before.
