WINNIPEG — The Blue Bombers added a player to the Canadian Football League team’s practice roster today.

Non-import offensive lineman Ryan Ackerman, a member last season of the University of Regina Rams, will join the Bombers.

The 6-foot-3, 298-pound Ackerman, 24, was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 4th round, 28th overall in the 2007 CFL Draft.

With the Rams, Ackerman started at offensive tackle and helped bolster an offensive line that allowed the Rams offence to lead the CIS in passing yards in 2006.
