WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will open their 2010 schedule at home against the very team that eliminated them last season — the Hamilton Tiger-Cats – on July 2.
The Canadian Football League will unveil its entire 2010 schedule on Monday, but released the details of its opening week, titled "Canada Day Kickoff," on Friday.
The season debuts with a Grey Cup rematch featuring the champion Montreal Alouettes in Saskatchewan to face the Roughriders as part of a Canada Day double-header (6 p.m. Manitoba time kickoff) followed by the Toronto Argonauts at the Calgary Stampeders (9 p.m.).
The Bombers play host to the Ticats at Canad Inns Stadium at 7 p.m. on July 2, with Week 1 wrapping up on Sunday, July 4 with the B.C. Lions at the Edmonton Eskimos.
