Firefighters battled a fire in the Pinawa Motor Inn this morning, RCMP said.
RCMP and the Pinawa Fire Department were called to the hotel on Monday about 8:40 a.m.
Damage is estimated at $ 1.5 million. The cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation.
An employee and a hotel guest were evacuated from the premise due to the fire. However, no injuries have been reported.
The investigation continues with the assistance of the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner.
