Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 20/05/2010 (5837 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
HE was either Hootie or a Blowfish, depending on your interpretation, but these days he’s known as country artist Darius Rucker and is coming to Winnipeg.
Rucker will play the MTS Centre on Oct. 7 as part of a Western Canadian tour, according to concert industry website Pollstar.
Rucker shot to international fame as the frontman of pop-rock group Hootie & the Blowfish in the mid 1990s. He released his first solo country album, Learn to Live, in 2008.
No other information was available Thursday about his Winnipeg show, including ticket information. He is opening for country star Brad Paisley all summer and throughout September before coming to Canada.
