WINNIPEG — Don’t let these Riders fans take over the empty seats.
This morning, single and double tickets for this afternoon’s Banjo Bowl were online at the Ticketmaster website for purchase. The game starts at noon today at Canad Inns stadium.
A Blue Bombers spokesman didn’t provide the total number of tickets sold for the game.
"Sometimes single tickets open up, as do the odd pair that a season ticket holder returns or the club opens, but the stadium is sold out. If a seat or two open up through Ticketmaster it would only be the temporarily or because we opened up a single ticket," said the Bombers spokesman, Darren Cameron.
The Blue Bombers will need the cheering — last year, they were trounced when Saskatchewan had 55 points to Winnipeg’s 10.
