The forecast is for sunny skies and but there’s a real chance of fireworks tonight featuring mayoral candidates Sam Katz and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
The two leading contenders go at each other for the second day in a row, at an election forum staged at Manitoba Hydro Place atrium, 360 Portage Ave., organized by the Downtown Business Improvement Zone.
The Downtown BIZ asked Katz and Wasylycia-Leis to answer 10 questions, which are posted at www.downtownwinnipegbiz.com and the candidates answers will be posted there as well.
But beginning at 5:30 p.m., Katz and Wasylycia-Leis will elaborate on their answers under questioning by Free Press columnist Dan Lett and CJOB’s Richard Cloutier.
The public is welcome to the free event and some questions will be taken from the floor.
