River Heights rivals will face off tonight in a debate for the second time this election.

Coun. John Orlikow will meet Tory Michael Kowalson in what’s expected to be a heated confrontation as the two battle for victory in the River Heights-Fort Garry ward.

Orlikow and Kowalson have traded jabs for week, largely about the handling of the bike-friendly traffic circles and barriers recently installed in River Heights. The race has become the nastiest in the city.

The debate starts at 7:30 p.m. at the River Heights Community Centre.

Election day is Wednesday.
