HAMILTON – The Manitoba Moose will get a much needed veteran scoring presence in their lineup on Wednesday night when sniper Jeff Tambellini reports to the club.

Tambellini has been assigned to the club by the Vancouver Canucks.

The 26-year-old had two goals and one assist in six games with the Canucks this season.

In 186 career NHL games with Vancouver, New York Islanders and Los Angeles Kings Tambellini has 20 goals and 29 assists.

In 169 AHL games he has 96 goals and 98 assists.

The son of Edmonton Oilers GM Steve Tambellini, the newest Moose was originally drafted by Los Angeles in the first round, 27th overall of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
