Neepawa’s Kelly Robertson captured the Strathcona senior men’s provincial curling championship by edging John Bubbs 10-9 with an extra end draw to the button Monday night at the Heather Curling Club.

Robertson trailed 7-5 after eight ends, but rattled off a four-ender in the ninth to pull ahead 9-7. Although Bubbs scored a deuce to send the game into extra ends, it was Robertson who drew cold to the button for the victory, the skip’s first provincial championship.
