A curling star, a business expert and a Stanley Cup champion will be honoured by Windsor Park Collegiate as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Curler Jennifer Jones, investment and taxation planning expert Evelyn Jacks, and former National Hockey League All-Star Robert “Butch” Goring will be honoured at the high school’s anniversary celebrations this weekend.
Windsor Park Collegiate will be having events Friday and Saturday for former students and teachers, and their families. Saturday night, there will be a gala dinner and dance at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
The three honoured alumni will have their names added to a plaque.
