Police seized counterfeit designer-label clothing at a retail store in Grand Marais, Man. on Friday, RCMP said Wednesday.

Investigators from the RCMP federal enforcement section executed a search warrant at the clothing store in the Lake Winnipeg beach community. 

Officers seized more than 350 items of suspected counterfeit clothing, police said. Brand names including Ed Hardy, Billabong, Quiksilver and Abercrombie & Fitch had an estimated retail value of more than $18,000.

The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into the retail distribution of counterfeit clothing.

No charges have been laid as of this time, RCMP said, but charges may be laid under the Copyright Act, Trademark Act and the Textiles Labelling Act.

RCMP said their investigation continues.
