One of the city’s biggest inner-city missions is turning 24 years old today – and it’s throwing itself a party to celebrate.
Starting at noon today, Siloam Mission will host a lunchtime block party for the shelter’s clients, volunteers and supporters from the general public.
There will be games for Siloam guests and live music by singer-songwriter Harmony Parent, a pork-on-a-bun lunch, and a speech by Siloam’s executive director Floyd Perras.
The fun goes down at Siloam Mission, located at 300 Princess St. in the Exchange District.
