WINNIPEG – Less than four weeks from now, Manitobans will decide whether the New Democrats will stay in power for another four years or whether it’s time for another party to have a crack at power.
Many of you care. Some of you couldn’t care less. All of you will be affected, whether you care to admit it or not.
As the provincial election campaign unfolds, the Free Press will cover the parties, their policies and their personalities from all the angles, in print and online. We’re also ramping up our efforts to get more voters involved as part our Democracy Project.

To that end, we’re planning a series of chat sessions called Talk the Vote.
Join Free Press political reporters Mia Rabson and Bartley Kives at 10 a.m. Friday as they gather their thoughts about the election news of the day and solicit some of yours. Today’s topic will be a review of the election campaign, one week in.
This isn’t an online talk show, per se, but a chance for readers to share their thoughts, pose a few questions and also make suggestions about our coverage. We’ll take the best suggestions to the rest of the election team.
