Hours before the big show, Winnipeggers filled up The Forks to celebrate the day that has been dubbed Jetsmas.
At 1 pm, as local pop-rock duo Keith and Renee pumped out the tunes on Scotiabank Stage, thousands of Jets fans flooded the field.
Inside The Forks Market, businesses also got into the game-day groove, offering Jets ticket lotteries and special Jets products.
The family-friendly shindig (no alcohol is allowed) continued all afternoon with musical performances, a broadcast of CBC’s game coverage and plenty of games and free schwag.
