Hey there, time traveller!

CHICAGO — Big saves by Ondrej Pavelec held them in the game in the third period but the Winnipeg Jets just couldn’t muster the tying goal and fell 4-3 to the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at United Center.
A goal by Kyle Wellwood, his first of the season, has brought the Jets to within a goal of the Hawks late in the second period but the visitors could get no closer.
Winnipeg had opened a 2-0 lead on a pair of deflections by Jim Slater before eight minutes had gone by on Thursday night.
“It just shows you it’s a good team,” said Jets coach Claude Noel. “You’d like to think you could hold onto it for a while but it’s like golf. It’s 18 holes. Golf isn’t done in the first three holes.
“It’s a 60-minute game. You’ve got to play it through.”
Noel said that Winnipeg turnovers were the quick road to defeat for second straight game.
“They made us pay,” Noel said.
After the Hawks rallied to tie it before the end of the first, they kept right on going to start the second.
Marian Hossa and Dave Bolland scored in the first seven minutes of the second period.
Wellwood scored at 14:34 when he tapped the puck backwards through his legs near the net, banking it in off the pads of Chicago goalie Ray Emery.
Winnipeg is now 0-2 early in the season and moves on to face the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.
