Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Jets have made another call to The Rock and are promoting St. John’s IceCaps’ left winger Carl Klingberg.
Both Nik Antropov, who blocked a shot in the third period of Tuesday’s 6-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators, and Eric Fehr were absent from Wednesday practice and have been listed as day-to-day. That prompted the call to St. John’s for Klingberg, who has nine goals and seven assists in 20 American Hockey League games this season.
Klingberg, a 6-3, 205-pounder from Goteburg, Sweden may be in the lineup when the Jets play host to the Phoenix Coyotes (7:30 p.m.; TSN Jets; TSN Radio 1290).

“If he played in the game he’d be an energy fourth-line guy. We’d just want him to be dependable,” said Jets head coach Claude Noel. “He’s been dependable. He’s provided more offence than I believe that he had here. But he’s shown he’s around the net to get some offensive play in the American League. I wouldn’t really be looking for offence from him, just some energy and be dependable.
“How can he impact the game? He would do that through his skating and checking and just making smart decisions.”
Defenceman Ron Hainsey also remains day-to-day after returning to the lineup last week but re-aggravating his injury.
