WINNIPEG — Several people had to be treated by paramedics near the Sears store at Polo Park mall after someone fired off pepper spray around 2:30 p.m.
The injuries aren’t thought to be serious.
Polo Park general manager Deborah Green said the incident started when one man pepper-sprayed another. Both quickly left the building.
Three bystanders were taken to hospital complaining of discomfort.
By 3:30 p.m., police removed their yellow tape, and it was business at usual at the mall. There have been no arrests.
