According to the police investigation, six victims paid $4,240 for stolen tickets that they believed were legitimate and were refused entry at the MTS Centre.

“The tickets were stolen from two separate break and enters. They were initially legitimate tickets but then they were cancelled by their legitimate owners,” said Const. Natalie Aitken.

Winnipeg Police continue to recommend that people looking to purchase hockey tickets do so only from people that they know or through the team’s ticket exchange portal at www.winnipegjets.com.
