Police have seized a stun gun, bayonet rifle and sword in a bust at a Vivian Avenue home late Monday night.
The Winnipeg Police Service Street Crimes Unit executed a drug warrant at the house at about 11:10 p.m., along with officers from the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team. Police also seized a pellet rifle, a rifle and ammunition, plus a small amount of pot.
A 22-year-old man is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, careless use of a firearm and ammunition, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
A 23-year-old man is charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and possessing a controlled drug or substance.
Both men were released on a promise to appear. Police did not release their names, and said they have links to street gangs.
