Be on alert — nude and almost-nude cyclists were setting out from the legislature at 7 p.m. and heading down Broadway to The Exchange District, the waterfront and market square.
Free Press reporter Kristy Hoffman is on the scene, and has spotted one body-painted woman wearing only a cape among the 40 or so cyclists. Others are wearing not a whole lot, but are sporting thongs, glitter, tutus, feathers — and, of course, helmets. Pretty much everyone has body paint.
Organizers say it was tried four years ago, and now it’s back as a celebration of green transportation and body image awareness.
