Mother Nature is set to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a snow storm.
A winter storm watch has been issued for southern Manitoba with Environment Canada calling for 10 and 25 centimetres of snow to fall in the region Sunday.
The forecast for Winnipeg is grey and cold. It will be cloudy today with a high of -10 C. The snow should start falling sometime this afternoon and get blown around by 30 km/h winds from the southeast.
The temperature will hold steady overnight at -10 C before dropping slightly Monday to the day’s forecast high of -11 C.
The rest of the week looks to be about the same with temperatures reaching a high of -11 or -12 C through Thursday and dropping down to between -17 and –20 C overnight.
