The Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Government are issuing another run of Winnipeg Jets specialty license plates in response to demand.
Motorcycle owners will also be able to buy the Jets plates this time.
An additional 5,000 plates will soon be available at more than 300 Autopac brokers and service centres across the province starting Friday, Apr. 19.
Motorcycle owners will now have a variety of plate options available to them: Winnipeg Jets, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, veterans and Winnipeg Goldeyes, with firefighter motorcycle plates available later this summer.
The cost of the motorcycle plates will be $70, with $30 of that fee going towards the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation, Winnipeg Blue Bomber Football Club, Winnipeg Goldeyes’ Field of Dreams Foundation, Manitoba Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial and the Manitoba Firefighters Burn Fund.
