The first hotel in Canada fully integrated into a hospital campus was officially opened today.
The Canad Inns Destination Centre Health Sciences Centre is a $40 million, 191 room hotel.
About 40 per cent of the hospital’s patients are from out of town and the hotel is designed to cater to the needs of families with loved ones at the hospital. It is the 12th hotel in the Winnipeg-based Canad Inn chain.
