Time for Winnipeg Jets fans to break out the calendars, as the team unveiled its 2013-14 pre-season schedule.
The Jets will play eight games before the NHL season starts, beginning with a Sept. 14 tilt against the Washington Capitals in Belleville, Ont. as part of the Kraft Hockeyville celebrations in nearby Stirling-Rawdon.
After that, the Jets will come home for three home games in a row, facing the Ottawa Senators on Sept. 15, the Edmonton Oilers on Sept. 17 and burgeoning rival Minnesota Wild on Sept. 19.
The MTS Centre games will all begin at 7 p.m.
The Jets will then travel to Minnesota to face the Wild at Xcel Energy Center on Sept. 21 and fly to Edmonton for a game Sept. 23.
The pre-season will wrap up with back-to-back games against the Boston Bruins, one on Sept. 26 at MTS Centre and the other slated for a special exhibition game at Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre on Sept. 27.
