The city’s Latin community is throwing a party today.
Latin Fest Winnipeg hits The Forks’ Scotiabank Stage from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Over 40 countries are represented in the alcohol-free event, which will celebrate Latin culture, music, food and dance.
Dance and art displays will be shown during the afternoon with musical groups Buena Clave, Tropical 99, Latin Fusion and Descarga Latina performing.
Admission is free.
