The Exchange will be alive with the sound of Africa today.
Evans Coffie, a veteran drummer originally from Ghana, will perform at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café Wednesday at 1 p.m.
A mainstay of the African and Caribbean Folklorama pavilions, “CofieMan” plays the djembe drums and a number of other instruments.
The Africa pavilion is at the Holy Cross Gym at 290 Dubuc Street.
Folklorama runs through August 17. About 50 countries will be represented over the two-week event.
