The reopening of the Arlington Street bridge has been delayed for another week.

City officials said this morning that the overpass will reopen to vehicular traffic Sept. 9 at 6 a.m.

The bridge, which spans the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks, closed to traffic July 15 and was originally scheduled to be reopen August 31.

Repairs on the 102-year-old bridge involve the deck overlay, structural steel repairs and maintenance.

The east-side sidewalk continues to be open to pedestrian traffic.
