Winnipeg police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Justin Atelard Catcheway for his alleged involvement in a homicide.
The 30-year-old is described as an aboriginal male, 5-10, weighing about 120 kilograms (265 pounds) with a heavy build, short straight black hair, pockmarked skin, thin moustache, goatee and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
Police believe he is an associate of the Manitoba Warriors Street gang and may have knowledge of an incident that occurred last weekend.
On Jan. 19 at about 3 p.m., Justin Desmarais, 24, was found dead in a home located on the 200 block of Andrews Street. Police believe an argument took place in the house.
People are advised not to approach Catcheway and to contact police at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 if they know of his whereabouts.
