Mayor Sam Katz will honour Jennifer Jones and her gold medal-winning Olympic curling team at city hall in a noon ceremony Thursday.

The Royal Canadian Mint will be issuing a special coin to the city to celebrate Winnipeg’s gold medal athletes.

Team Jones will be receiving Outstanding Achievement Award medallions from Katz.
