Sure, the camper trailer may be under six feet of snow, the marshmallows haven’t been purchased and the fishing rods are still packed away.
But many Manitobans had visions of camping in their heads when they woke up early this morning.
The province began taking bookings for yurts and cabins at all provincial parks, but campsites only at Birds Hill Provincial Park this morning.
Campsite reservations for all other provincial parks will begin April 7.
Online and call centre services began 7 a.m. online, or by phone at 204-948-3333 (in Winnipeg) or 1 888-482-2267 (toll free).
On all other days, the call centre will open at 9 a.m.
Walk-in reservations and in-person payment arrangements can be made at 200 Saulteaux Cres. in Winnipeg and will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
