JESSICA BURTNICK / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Steve Chipman, CEO of the Birchwood Auto Group, says it's going to be a record-setting year for new-car sales and he thinks that will extend to used cars, too.

You may have heard about his family’s purchase of the Atlanta Thrashers nearly three years ago.

Chipman’s eldest son, Steve, will drop by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. to discuss the honour and the impact his father’s legacy continues to have on him and his siblings.

The event will be livestreamed here.
