The Winnipeg Jets will open their 2014-15 season in the desert and follow it with a little California dreamin’.

The NHL unveiled the home openers for all 30 teams on Saturday and the Jets will begin Thursday, Oct. 9th in Arizona against the Coyotes before also heading to San Jose two days later for the Sharks home debut.

The Jets will play their first game in front of their MTS Centre faithful on Friday, October 17th against the Nashville Predators.

The league’s complete 1,230-game schedule will be released Sunday, June 22 at 3 p.m.
