Unless you’re going to the grand opening ceremonies of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, you might want to avoid The Forks on Friday.
For three hours starting at 10 a.m., York Avenue between Main Street and Israel Asper Way and Israel Asper Way between William Stephenson Way and York Avenue will be closed to all traffic.
Roadway access to The Forks will be maintained via Fort Gibraltar Trail and Forks Market Road during this time.
