Hey there, time traveller!

Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Patrick Neufeld is hurt. Again.
Neufeld — who has missed seven games this season with a calf injury — re-hurt his leg during practice at Investors Group Field this morning, putting in doubt the club’s plans to see Neufeld finally return to the lineup this Saturday in a must-win game against the B.C. Lions.
Neufeld — who got hurt in a game in Week 9 — did not finish practice today and head coach Mike O’Shea said he will be checked out. “He’s got to get evaluated. I don’t know if he’s re-pulled the calf or not. But he felt something and it was just best to stop practicing right away.”
Neufeld has a long history of injuries. He was acquired by the Bombers in a trade with Saskatchewan midway through the 2013 season that sent DE Alex Hall to the Roughriders, but he never did play for Winnipeg last year because of an injury to his other leg.
O’Shea said no one should question Neufeld’s toughness. “I feel badly for Pat. He doesn’t want to be sitting on the sidelines this long. He wants to play. He works hard… You’re not dealing with a lazy guy who doesn’t make his treatments and isn’t interested. This guy wants to play and does everything he possibly can.
“It’s got to be frustrating.”
In other injury news involving the offensive line on Wednesday, O’Shea said OL Devin Tyler has been ruled out for this week, but OL Glenn January did take all the first-team reps at practice Wednesday for the first time in over a week. January missed the last two games with a sore back.
O’Shea said injured SB Nick Moore and DB Demond Washington — who both didn’t practice again on Wednesday — haven’t yet been ruled out for Saturday and will be further evaluated on Thursday. Moore and Washington were injured last Saturday in a 33-23 Bombers loss to the Calgary Stampeders.
Rookie import receiver Justin Wilson has taken first-team reps this week in place of Moore, but O’Shea said he hasn’t decided yet if Wilson will start if Moore cannot go.
In other news, O’Shea said Bombers QB Brian Brohm — who broke his thumb against Calgary and is out for the season — has now had surgery and it was deemed a success.
The Bombers need to beat B.C. at home on Saturday to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
