The Winnipeg Jets’ third annual Skills Competition will take place Dec. 17 at the MTS Centre, the Jets announced this morning.

A limited pre-sale for the event will be conducted for Jets’ season ticket holders and waiting list members today at 10 a.m. and end Thursday at 10 a.m. After that time, tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday. Ticket prices are $15 for lower-bowl seats and $10 for upper-bowl seats (all seats reserved), including service charges, and will be available at www.winnipegjets.com

Proceeds from the event will go to the Jets’ True North Foundation and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

This year’s competition will see the Jets compete in five different events: fastest skater, accuracy shooting, puck control relay, breakaway relay and hardest shot.
