A stabbing Saturday night at The Yale Hotel on Main Street left one person in critical condition and another in custody.
“Someone was transported in critical condition,” Winnipeg Police Service spokesman Jason Michalyshen said Sunday.
“One person was arrested. I don’t know if there will be more arrests.”
Police were called to the scene around 8 p.m. Saturday. They marked off the scene with yellow tape and by morning, they were still at work.
Michalyshen said police were releasing few other details about the incident.
The Yale is at 860 Main St.
