The 2015-16 NHL schedule hasn’t been officially released just yet but that hasn’t stopped teams from announcing their first matchup on home ice.
If you were to scroll through the 30 NHL teams on Twitter you will notice each club has posted the date and opponent of their home opener for the new NHL season and it’s the Winnipeg Jets who are creating some of the biggest buzz.
The New Jersey Devils and Boston Bruins will both see their home schedule open with a tilt against the Jets. Boston will welcome Winnipeg on Oct. 8 while the Devils will play them the following night at the Prudential Center Oct. 9.
