A child fell about four metres after pushing out the screen of a second-storey window in a duplex in Valley Gardens today.
Police remain on scene in the first 100 block of Ravenhill Road.
A neighbour said the incident happened just before noon.
One person was taken to hospital in unstable condition, police said.
No other information was released.
