“We are encouraged by the ticket count to date and look forward to selling out the rest to our great Blue Bomber and CFL fans in the months to come,” said WFC President and CEO, Wade Miller in a release. “I am especially grateful for the strong and ongoing support of our season ticket members who have already made their purchases.”

A decision has also been made to have both the pre-game and half time shows in the north end of the stadium, meaning any temporary seats will be limited to the south end of Investors Group Field. With the additional seats, the total capacity for the game will be 36,634, according to the release.

“We’d also like to remind fans that the WFC has a payment plan available for purchasing individual Grey Cup tickets,” added Miller. “The ticket price would be divided equally in each of the three months starting September 15, 2015, with no additional service or interest charges for fans wishing to choose this easy pay option.”

Even if the game does reach a sell out, attendance would still be the lowest for a Grey Cup game since 1998 – which was also in Winnipeg.
