Hey there, time traveller!

The waiting game continues for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on veteran centre Dominic Picard.
Head coach Mike O’Shea today pumped some life into the hope that Picard may yet be available for this Saturday’s home CFL game against the Calgary Stampeders.
Picard has been absent from practice since suffering an injury at last weekend’s workouts.
“Hopeful,” O’Shea said this afternoon, after Picard missed another day on the field. “He’s feeling better today so we’ll give him a little bit more time and see. It’s one of those things where we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and hold off making the decision for another day.
“Usually all those decisions are made (by) now but it’s one of those situations where we can’t make it right now.”
The team will reveal on Friday what Picard’s actual game status will be.
If he’s unavailable, 2014 first-round draft pick Mattias Goosen will be the man who goes into that spot. It would be Goosen’s first start at centre, having made four start last season at right guard.
“He’s going to be (ready). Absolutely,” O’Shea said about Goosen.
The coach was mostly vague today on other lineup decisions that seem to be up in the air for the 3-5 team.
Newcomer Jasper Simmons, signed after Calgary released him a week ago, is not yet confirmed to play against his old team, which leads the West Division at 6-2.
The coach also declined to say whether he’s making a change in the starting receiving corps for this weekend, though it has appeared at practice like Justin Veltung may be in.
