Hey there, time traveller!

There are 34 days until Canadians choose their next government. The Free Press would like to hear from its readers what you think about various things that are coming up on the campaign, from policies to political posturing and everything in between.
We will be posing a question to our readers on the web several times a week, and asking you to lead the conversation, with Free Press reporters weighing in if the opportunity warrants it.
To start things off, this week, well this election really, has been all about the economy. With news Canada hit recession status in the first six months of this year, and this week’s news the Conservatives balanced the budget in 2014-15 unexpectedly, economics have dominated in September so far. Thursday night Stephen Harper, Tom Mulcair and Justin Trudeau will go head to head on the economy in a leaders’ debate.
Do you think the government’s announcement it balanced the budget last year will affect anything, including your vote?
Please reply in the comments below. We’re interested to hear what you think.
