It’s very much like the Superbowl for political junkies! Join our federal election team as we watch the second federal election debate Thursday night from the Free Press News Café.

Perspectives and politics editor Shannon Sampert will be joined by reporter Mary Agnes Welch and University of Manitoba political scientist Royce Koop to provide commentary on how political leaders Stephen Harper, Tom Mulcair and Justin Trudeau are doing in the nationally televised broadcast from Calgary.

But it’s not all policy and punditry. We’ll be holding a debate bingo as well — bingo cards with election words and actions — that viewers can fill out as the debate unfolds, with some great prizes.

The debate starts at 7, but come early because seating is limited and the cafe will fill up fast. Bring your campaign signs, brochures and opinions and let the fun begin.
