“We are proud to work with local businesses to create a ‘True North’ experience in the Exchange,” said Brian Timmerman, Executive Director of the Exchange District BIZ. “We want to share with Winnipeg that even in the fall and winter months, there are still many great reasons to visit the Exchange.”

Hockey fans are encouraged to bundle up, don their jerseys and bring their lawn chairs to experience this one-of-a-kind outdoor event. In addition to the live screening, there will be popcorn for sale and 50/50 tickets in support of KidSport Winnipeg.

Following the game, or between periods, fans are invited to visit nearby venues for one-night only specials on food and drink. Participating vendors include Bodegoes Restaurant (98 Albert Street), King + Bannatyne the Sandwich Shop on the Corner (100 King Street) and Cake-ology (85 Arthur Street).

The live screening event is a partnership between the Exchange District BIZ, Bodegoes Restaurant, King + Bannatyne and Red River College.
