The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are starting season ticket renewals with no price increase for sections P1-P7 in 2016, and a $15 discount on season parking passes.

The renewal process is starting early this year in response to fan requests, the Winnipeg Football Club said. Parking prices will drop to $185 from $200.

The price freeze appears to be based on the team’s performance this season.

In a statement, president and CEO Wade Miller said he “understands fan frustration at the team’s record so far” but maintained a solid core is being built with players such as Drew Willy, Ian Wild, Jamaal Westerman, Khalil Bass, Darvin Adams, Stanley Bryant, and others.

In addition to a season ticket price freeze for sections P1-P7, more than 50 prizes will be up for grabs including a 2016 Nissan Titan truck, a $5,000 Co-op gas gift card, trips to the 104th Grey Cup in Toronto, an all-inclusive luxury vacation to the Caribbean, tickets to the 103rd Grey Cup in Winnipeg, and more.
