Restaurateur Noel Bernier plans to run as a Liberal in Point Douglas in the 2016 provincial election.
Bernier, whose stable of restaurants includes Carnaval and Prairie 360, helped run federal Liberal candidate Rebecca Chartrand’s campaign in Churchill-Keewatinook Aski this fall.
The provincial Liberals plan to announce Bernier’s candidacy on Friday.
