Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Jets kept it close for the better part of three periods, but a late push by the Dallas Stars turned out to be too much to overcome.
Colton Sceviour broke a 2-2 tie 12 minutes and 29 seconds into the third period, scoring his sixth of the season on a goal that hit the inside cross-bar and out so fast the play needed to be reviewed before the goal would stand. Jamie Benn scored less than two minutes later to make it a 4-2 game. Mark Scheifele made it a one-goal game with his 14th of the season with just 2:06 left on the clock, but despite some intense pressure the Jets couldn’t get the equalizer. Benn added his second goal of the game with a shot from his own end that made it all the way to the Jets’ empty net to cap off a 5-3 final.
With the loss, the Jets drop to 25-30-4 on the year, while the Stars improve to 38-17-6 with the win.

Jason Spezza put the visitors up 1-0 after the first period, scoring his 19th of the season on the power play, Alex Burmistrov opened the scoring in the second with his sixth of the season and first in eight games.
Then Jets captain Andrew Ladd, who many believe will be dealt by the NHL trade deadline Feb. 29, making tonight potentially his last home game in a Jets uniform, erased another lead by the Stars – Valeri Nichushkin scored his seventh of the season midway through the second period – with a short-handed goal with under four minutes left in the frame. The crowd saluted their captain with a standing ovation that lasted into the next shift.
